It’s going down to the wire…or is it?

An intriguing race and one more point for Jenson Button. What this means is that third place or better will now secure the drivers championship for Jenson if he can achieve that at the next race in Brazil.

I’m as ever optimistic and I hope that Jenson does secure the 6 points required in Brazil. If not it’ll be a bit of a nail biter at the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi. I really do hope it doesn’t go right down to the wire…but you never know!

Last weekend it was Singapore, this weekend the Formula 1 Roadshow has moved on to the Suzuka circuit in Japan. It’s a welcome return to this circuit after a few races at the Fuji Speedway - Suzuka is one of the great racing circuits in the world and the scene of some great races in the past.

First and second practise today (Friday) were both rain affected and Jenson Button didn’t even leave the garage in P2. The weather should improve from here on in with hot dry conditions for Saturday practise & qualifying and the race on Sunday. Destiny beckons - come on Jenson!
