Jumbo Jets
This page shows a collection of pictures taken by me in one day at London’s Heathrow airport in August of 2001. The pictures are all very similar in so far as they all show a Boeing 747 ‘Jumbo Jet’ aircraft on short final approach to landing.
I compiled this collection of pictures to illustrate the number of different carriers flying the 747 into Heathrow airport at that time. I’m sure there were a few more (Eva Air springs to mind and Singapore Cargo with their Mega Arks) but I hope this will serve as a pretty accurate record.
